Downtown Knoxville
Downtown Knoxville

Knoxville, TN is a great place to call home. Not only do we have a lower-than-average cost of living, we also have access to beautiful lakes like Norris and Douglas, and the Tennessee River. And, of course, Knoxville is in the foothills of Great Smoky Mountains National Park – the most visited National Park in the U.S.

Natural beauty is only one asset of East Tennessee; we also have some of the best sports programs in the Country!

The long, proud history of University of Tennessee Football; Pat Summitt and the 7-time National champion Lady Vols; Bruce Pearl and his reliably explosive Men’s Basketball program; multiple local private college teams; and some fantastic, century-old high school athletic programs and rivalries as well.

Real Estate continues to appreciate, and many areas of town are booming, such as Downtown and the popular new Turkey Creek. Knoxville also has new developments being built on the Tennessee River. And for those who like country living close to city attractions, the city of Maryville is a stone’s throw from Knoxville and is a popular real estate destination as well.

For those who enjoy being entertained, Knoxville has many great restaurants, and sports and leisure activities for everyone. Golfers may enjoy private golfing communities such as Gettysview and Holston Hills, as well as several nice public courses such as Willow Creek in Farragut. The Pinnacle Theatres in Turkey Creek offers a beautiful new 18 screen movie theatre. Local malls West Town and Knoxville Centre offer hundreds of shopping opportunities, and local entrepreneurs offer boutique shopping at its finest. And the list goes on. Hotels for visitors and vacationers include all the National chains, the Radisson downtown, as well as the Hyatt Regency. Turkey Creek has many new hotels to choose from in the West Knoxville area.

Knoxville has two mayors; Bill Haslem is City Mayor and Mike Ragsdale is County, and they work together in a way that is improving the quality of life in Knoxville each day.

Employment is strong; major corporations such as Pilot Travel Centers are headquartered here. The Knoxville Convention Center attracts business and entertainment professionals from across the globe, and the tax climate, geography and cost of living in Knoxville attract many new and expanding companies to Knoxville.

Other attractions in Knoxville include the Worlds Fair site with its iconic Sun Sphere, Knoxville’s Old City, and hundreds of other arts, cultural, historical and entertainment venues.

Visit VirtuallyKnoxville.com on a regular basis; we will be adding new content daily and coming soon is the premier builders and developments of East Tennessee.

Welcome to Knoxville. Enjoy your stay!
