Elidio’s Pizza is the best pizza that I have eaten in Knoxville. Thin, almost airy crust that just tastes delicious. The ingredients and toppings are generous and good quality, and the prices for authentic Italian pizza are incomparable. Located off Callahan Drive in North Knoxville (865 687 1002–Elidiospizza.com), you gotta give em’ a try. This writer gives a big two thumbs up. Elidio himself is a very nice man and puts his soul into his craft. I believe Elidio cares and wants his customers to come back over and over, by providing an exceptional product. Stromboli’s, calzone’s, and many other great Italian dishes are on the menu! Dine in, take out, try it!

Recently I discovered a great new catering kitchen and restaurant, just off Kingston Pike in Knoxville. Big Fatty’s Catering Kitchen & Restaurant. WOW, the fried chicken was amazing and the smell in the air, made me think of down-home, southern cooking, with a gourmet flare! The banana pudding was great, and the mac and cheese was not from the box. VirtuallyKnoxville.com is actually going to be building Big Fatty’s new website, set to premier by March 15th. Go see Lisa and tell her VK sent you, she might throw in a side, or throw a towel at you, but you’ll love her. Great personality, great food. 5005 Kingston Pike. BigFattysck@yahoo.com.
